Hand in hand with International Women’s Day comes Thornehope’s eighth edition of HerTelling, where we pause to recognize some of the remarkable women shaping our industry. Through these stories, we aim to play a small yet meaningful role in elevating voices formed by different cultures, disciplines and lived experiences.
The United Nations theme for this year’s International Women’s Day, “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls,” calls for more than acknowledgement. It calls for tangible progress in how rights are safeguarded, how justice is upheld and how action ensures opportunity without barrier or bias. In that spirit, HerTelling is not only a celebration, but a reminder that listening advances justice, representation strengthens rights and storytelling itself can move us toward action.

This year, we turn our focus inward. We are giving voice to four remarkable women from Thornehope and our partner community whose work, leadership and perspectives continue to shape who we are as a company. By listening to and learning from our colleagues, we are reminded that meaningful progress begins close to home, in the daily choices and shared commitments that define our culture.
“What moves me most is hearing our colleagues speak about the quiet strength of their daily work,” says Thornehope CEO Arthur Jones. “They lead projects, solve problems, mentor others and shape culture, often without fanfare. In their own words, empowerment is not a slogan. It is a steady commitment to growth and a willingness to step forward with clarity and purpose.”
If listening is part of justice, then we invite you to begin there. Take a few moments to hear these conversations in their own words, reflections on work, growth and self-empowerment that resonate beyond our company.
