We’ve done it again: Super Retail Group Drives Global Growth and Innovation at OSTPC24

Super Retail Group (SRG), an Australian-based retailer specializing in automotive, outdoor, and sports industries, participated in the Overseas Strategic Trade Partner Conference 2024 (OSTPC24) in Hangzhou, China, from September 4–6. SRG is known for its strong presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets, where it has earned a reputation for innovation and customer engagement.

Thornehope (THP), a global leader in large-scale event management, partnered with SRG to ensure the success of their participation in OSTPC24. THP assembled a professional team to manage SRG’s event design and staging needs with an eye toward sustainability, including key visuals, branding, booth design, stage layout, seating plans and eco-friendly material recommendations. Additionally, THP collaborated with SRG to produce an engaging opening video.

OSTPC24 Challenges

SRG aimed to leverage the event to connect with key suppliers, share insights on strategies and performance and explore new opportunities. To support this goal, THP helped SRG create compelling presentations, branded booths and product displays. The focus was on aligning suppliers with SRG’s vision while fostering collaboration between trade partners.

Within budget, THP delivered creative, eco-friendly solutions that met SRG’s objectives, balancing innovation with affordability and sustainability.

THP’s approach emphasized sustainable event design, incorporating energy-efficient technologies, recycled materials and local sourcing. By integrating green practices, THP enhanced the overall experience for attendees. The design services provided by THP, including key visuals, branded booth design, and photography, exceeded SRG’s expectations. The collaboration was marked by seamless internal communication, ensuring alignment on vision and goals throughout the event. Key highlights included:

  • Clear briefs. THP outlined objectives, target audience, themes and desired outcomes, ensuring comprehensive alignment with SRG.
  • Regular meetings. Consistent updates allowed for real-time adjustments and ensured SRG’s vision remained central.
