Only if we understand, can we care. Only if we care, we will help. Only if we help, we shall be saved. — Jane Goodall, primatologist, conservationist and UN Messenger of Peace

Jane Goodall, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, UN Messenger of Peace and world-renowned ethologist, passed away on October 1. Her groundbreaking research at Gombe Stream transformed our understanding of primates and our connection to the natural world. In Reason for Hope: A Spiritual Journey, she shared her belief that everyone can find hope. For many, she was a lifelong source of inspiration. At Thornehope, we honor her legacy. She will be deeply missed.
